**Directors** are lay and clergy volunteers responsible for a single week of camp each year. There are usually two directors per week, one clergy and one lay director. Directors choose staff, plan themes, and organize the day-to-day operations of camp during the week (as opposed to [[activity period|activity periods]], which are usually planned and organized by the [[permanent_staff|Permanent Staff]] in the summer and [[volunteer staff|volunteer staff]] at [[Winter Solstice|Winter Solstice]]).
